Dialog Spotting is a superb tool to assist in the translation and preproduction of EDL files for ADR/Dubbing and able to elevate it to a digital, non-linear high level and user configurable environment. It is has been designed for: 

- Production of Takes lists for Dialog Replacement ADR.

- Production of EDLs for subtitling.

- Translation and correction of scripts and dialogues.

- Preparation and printing of EDLs and Scripts for ADR.

Dialog Spotting is the "off-line" module designed for the pre-production Operator who import/writes the dialogues and/or divides it into different TAKES for each character by setting the Timecode IN and OUT points for each one while watching the movie. 

Dialog Spotting displays the video program in two ways: 

- realtime video and VITC timecode reading for any external video player or RS422 TC. 

- buildt-in non-linear computer video files and virtual timecode generator

Timecode points are "on the fly" captured. Imports text files from a variety of formats and also allows you to type and edit text, characters, track and comments directly on the Appearances and Take fields. Dialog Spotting displays the whole information in a clear and easy to understand way with most features only one mouse click or key press away.

Dialog Spotting can print several formats of reports including Takes lists, Script, Cast and Statistics. Several text formats can be imported to facilitate scripts acquisition. The program also provides complete Cast management and track assignment for each Character/Talent.
