Spotting adds several graphical elements over the video image including text and "take map"

VideoDeck, OnScreenVideo and SComs options for Spotting provides several advanced features for video management, transport and timecode capture. Video scenes or segments can be established as clips to be played with loop functions and allow to hear the original sound while making the translation. The timecode point for the segment can also be assigned as Take IN and OUT settings for the text. Additionally each Appearance can be referenced to timecode.


Dialog Spotting supports the following timecode sources:

  •  Virtual TC from AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, QUICKTIME, etc video files

  •  VITC ScreenSubtitling ISA card

  •  VITC Alpermann+Velte PCL5V card

  •  VITC-LTC Alpermann+Velte PCL-PCI card

  •  Alpermann+Velte TC60 RLV

  •  Fairlight RS232 serial protocol

  •  RS422 9pin serial protocol
